RuneRebels Sirius (2.9.7) - Super Slayer!

It was just another normal day at RuneRebel's headquarters; Ryan & Bill were still running around like madmen in the Quest Library while Alex was beating up dummies even though he couldn't gain any more experience from hitting them. Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. "What was that?" asked Bill. "I'll INVESTIGATE!" yelled Alex and he sprinted toward the door; he ran so quickly that he didn't have enough time to slow down, and ended up smashing right into the door. "Its someone delivering a letter!" exclaimed Alex as he smashed his face against the peep hole. He opened the door and saw Bailey standing there. "Its a letter from the the players, they say that Slayer is all screwed up, and I kind of agree" said Bailey. "Uh oh" said Ryan, as he teleported away to the secret basement of the Slayer tower where all of the ancient Slayer texts were kept. When he arrived the place was a mess; there were rats running all other the place, the books for Vannaka were mixed up with the books for Duradel, there was an Abyssal Demon taking a dump on Turael's clothes in the corner, and so on and so forth. "Welp, this will be fun" said Ryan as he and the dev team started to slowly clean up the place.




Hello players! We know that while you await the next update, Slayer is a skill that many of you grind away at, and one that has needed some fixing for awhile now. We've finally cleaned up all of the Slayer tasks to be as accurate as possible, and have fixed many of the Slayer monsters and their requirements. We've also fixed the bugs where creatures wouldn't count for an assignment, added some missing dialogue for the masters themselves, and added correct weights for all of the tasks! We still have some additional work to do, but things should be in a much better state now, and we hope you enjoy it!

Client:
Added white/green text on stacks on items in the thousands or millions.

Free to play:
Added the message for when you attempt to login to a free to play world while standing in a member's only area.

Core Engine:
Fixed bugs related to the jewelry teleports.
Added a field to allow ladders to be used diagonally.
Fixed a bug with the Edgeville dungeon trapdoor where it didn't open.
Added gates inside Shilo Village.
Added Blacksmith's door in Shilo Village.

Commands:
Added createdoor command to vastly speed up the process of making doors/gates work.
Added command to delete Npc spawns.

Crafting:
Fixed the XP rate for studded bodies and chaps.

Tools:
Added "RevertQuestStep" and "ResetQuestNode" steps.
Added ability in SelectAnOption to automatically generate a PlayerChat and mark for an option.
Added animation / graphics viewer tool.
Added ShowHintIcon and ModifyDynamicPart steps to the cutscene editor.
Added support for variable conditional text in the Quest Editor.
Added Lad/Lass chat variables.
Added Sir/Madam chat variables.
Added section header and comment steps.
Added new DropItem step.
Added optional checkbox to substep nodes.
Added support for binding to the Attack option on an Npc.
Added NpcDeathStartEvent trigger.
Added support for timers.
Added in editor buttons for modifying quest status.
Added in editor buttons for reloading or rebooting the game world.
Added search ability for Npc IDs.
Added "Fetch" button for coordinate fields.
Added ability to edit multiple dialogue and/or quest files at the same time.

Food & Drink:
Added full support for vegetable sacs.

Herblore:
Added the ability to split potions.
Disabled the ability to split and mix member's potions on free to play worlds.

Npc Spawns:
Fixed missing Dust Devil spawns.
Removed extra Npc at Shanty pass.
Added Npc spawns for the Haunted woods.
Added Npc spawns in Port Phasmatys.

Engine:
Fixed a bug where administrators could smuggle ground items in certain conditions.
Fixed not being able to note Bottle of wine.
Fixed not being able to note Rune claws.
Added improved ping packet behavior.
Fixed being able to reach through cages to grab items.
Added the correct message when attempting to logout in combat.
Added the ability for Npcs to follow other Npcs when spawned.
Fixed certain Fremennik items being tradable.

Woodcutting:
Added the ability to cut Hollow trees.

Firemaking:
Fixed a bug with lighting logs already on the ground.

Smithing:
Added the ability to smith studs.

Slayer:
Added the special effects for Dust Devils.
Fixed a spelling error with "Nechryaels".
Added correct weights to Slayer tasks.
Added quest requirements for Slayer tasks if the quest is available.
Completely redid all of Duradel's tasks.
Fixed the Crocodile task not being completable.
Fixed Otherworldly being not counting towards Slayer tasks.
Added the message for when you don't meet the combat level requirements for a Slayer master.
Audited and heavily modified Mazchna's tasks.
Audited and heavily modified Vannaka's tasks.
Audited and heavily modified Chaeldar's tasks.

Prayer:
Added correct blue coloring to the Prayer level requirement message.

Wilderness:
Fixed a bug where certain teleports wouldn't work above level 20 Wilderness that should've worked up to level 30, including the Amulet of Glory.
Fixed a bug where jewelry teleports would be blocked after the charge in the jewelry was already used!
Fixed a bug where the Wilderness warning would appear far west of the Wilderness.
Added the correct messages for when a teleport is blocked in the Wilderness.

You can also use the command ::ds in game to connect directly to the discord server
