There isn't a single state in this country that would be able to pay for itself. Seceding would end up in them returning to the Country. Every state plays a vital role in the country's economy, and if a state were to secede, then they would not have access to those goods without going through international tax and other things such as grudges owners of companies may have on that state.

All in all, most people are too stupid to realize the rich is fucking everyone else over. So no, unless some maricle happens where the 95% of Americans become smart all the sudden, then nothing will happen.

False.

Right now, if North Dakota succeeded from the nation, We'd be the fourth most powerful country in the world.

We have more Oil, Military bases, Military equipment, agricultural land, bomb shelters, and Nuclear missiles than most other stats.

Our state government is so rich that they have said many times they have no clue what to spend it on.
Agriculture, textile, food, etc. Its more than just money. And you'd think the US would let the state keep all the military supplies? More like they'd come in and take it all back if you were to not give it back.
You're like, the ultimate hipster bro.

RiiPiiN.. RiiPiiN.. RiiPiiN..

again.. agriculture=life

if we went on a state by state basis.. solar, hydro, natural gas with fuel cells (bloom box for instance), along with ethanol (from corn which falls under agriculture which you love to bash so much).. could take the place of oil. Also clothes/produce all comes from agriculture so your last statement made no sense. We grow cotton/hemp (clothes, rope, all other textiles).. we grow corn, switchgrass, and hemp for alternative fuels.. Corporations wouldn't have that much power without the government so that wouldn't be a big problem.. and another thing.. where does the US get 90% of all of our shit? OTHER COUNTRIES. So why would trading be such a big deal between states? ESPECIALLY when it doesn't have to cross an ocean or other body of water? Also, unless the rest of the US was willing to invade North Dakota (which it wouldn't) they wouldn't have to give shit back.. All of that would be theirs. To them, there is no more federal government above them.

In my opinion, we could all live a lot better with no federal government.. because what binds every state together in the first place? The FEDERAL government. Not state or local governments. So in reality if you could picture no federal government then that's what secession would look like. Tell me again why states wouldn't be able to function without it? It's not like once the federal government is gone everyone would turn to hating the state next to them and not let them trade, etc.

and WE ALL KNOW the rich is fucking everyone over. So how is staying plugged into this system everyone is getting fucked over by a good thing!? SECESSION IS ABOUT GETTING AWAY FROM BEING FUCKED OVER BY THE RICH! lol it amazes me how you go on about the rich fucking us over but still love to pledge allegiance to the flag that makes it all possible. It's like these hipsters screaming "illuminati" like they're smart and shit and talking about how they run the world but continue to watch MTV and buy into the clothing and music industries that make these families control us even more. You're like, the ultimate hipster bro.
Mr Confederate, everything you say means nothing to me. As we've discussed before, we will never be on agreeable terms. And by the way, I don't say the pledge. I don't like our government with the status its at with money controlling it. I love the structure, and without federal government, there would be no USA. So Mr Confederate, please explain to me why you to continue to support a belief that got it's ass kicked over 150 years ago? Its out dated. Simply getting rid of the the federal government would not simply fix the "rich fucking us over" as the coorporations would just move onto the next highest level of government in the hierarchy.

I would also like to point out that I am an antheist so thats another reason I don't say the pledge.

Oh also... I would love evidence that corn turning into ethanol could possibly create a viable replacement for oil. Not that I am a supporter of oil, but I believe you do not understand the process which involves turning corn to ethanol.

Of course it does because I am trying to understand why he has the opinion he has. Just because I am curious, does not mean I agree with it.

I still think North Dakota could make it on it's own.

Hell, it seems like everyone in the united states flocks here in herds for jobs anyway.

Our way of life "got it's ass kicked" because people were brainwashed into thinking the war was over slaves and that the north was trying to abolish slavery. That's the furthest thing from the truth and until you actually read up on the TRUTH of the civil war and look at it from BOTH sides and read REAL historical documents that PROVE the war wasn't about slavery THEN AND ONLY THEN will you realize how wrong you are. Not only is the comment about it being "old" irrelevant but it confirms your hipster status to me. When you said without the federal government there would be no USA? Is that not what I just said before? The states would no longer be UNITED therefore we just have independent states..?? The point of keeping things on a state level would be to keep corporatism down and manage it accordingly. Therefore the rich wouldn't have such an easy time paying off high ranking members of the federal government who will be in those positions until they die. At a state level those guys are in and out every 6 years or less. Again.. you having to reassert that you are an atheist and that's why you don't say the pledge is irrelevant and confirms your hipster status even more.

I guess growing up where you're from you've never heard of moonshine?

Not that I am a supporter of oil, but I believe you do not understand the process which involves turning corn to ethanol.
my family has been running the same 200 gallon still on the same farm since 1856 and we still use it to fuel our farm truck.

That is FUCKING AWESOME to say the least. Definitely would like some pictures of that if you've got any lying around

that's borderline incriminating myself hahaha saying it and showing it is 2 different things lol if I find any old pictures from a long time ago I'll post them

I realized right after I posted. Some of us do illegal things regularly enough we forget they're illegal sometimes...

RiiPiiN.. RiiPiiN.. RiiPiiN..

again.. agriculture=life

if we went on a state by state basis.. solar, hydro, natural gas with fuel cells (bloom box for instance), along with ethanol (from corn which falls under agriculture which you love to bash so much).. could take the place of oil.

Damn.... you're still blind aren't you? The problem isn't federal government. Your only argument is money. The problem is capitalism. Socialism would work much better with a federal government if I do say so myself.

These types of threads are always stupid. It kind of reared off topic too as the OP is talking of views on a possible future civil war.

I've never once mentioned money as being something we need. I've told you over and over the southern states could be completely independent due to agriculture ALONE. Food, Fuel, Clothing/Textiles, the list could go on for days.. if we wanted luxuries and modern day gadgets then we could always introduce trade but as far as what we need to survive and be thrive.. we have it all.

You actually did mention money once and it has been your only argument since. Even if you think agriculture is a thing in its own, its still money since you also think trading will work between the "north" and "south." There will be grudges and many companies from both sides will refuse to trade with eachother.

You really are like every other idiot out there. Refuse to think of the big picture. You're thinking for what you think will do the best for YOU, not the rest of the country. Helping eachother is the only way to go. I have no doubt you are a Republican since all of your views are liberal, so that just proves to me more your stance on the matter.

And by the way, slavery WAS the main cause of the Civil war. Not the only cause, but the MAIN cause. I know the civil war also helped the power of state governments and the federal government be balanced, which is another good thing that came out of the civil war. I don't agree with any of your beliefs what so ever because you support a cause that was ended over a HUNDRED YEARS AGO.

Its a radical belief. Any cause that wants to overthrown the federal government is treason. I support the government that makes this country what it is. If you're unhappy with it, than by all means move to another country. Simply whining about something that was ended LONG ago will get you no where because it will never happen.

lolololol my gosh this shows you're stupidity.. democrats=liberal.. republicans=conservative... I'm neither.. because it's all bullshit to separate the country and make us think we're really making a difference. I have very conservative views but don't consider myself a republican. Also, I didn't say we should overthrow the government but I do believe the government is too big. I think everything could run a whole lot smoother if the government was smaller and our foreign policy was the complete opposite of what it is now. And I'm tired of the argument that because something is old it makes it suck. You're playing a 2006 remake of runescape.. which must mean the 2006 version was better.. but in your logic it would automatically suck because it's older and jagex has came along with something new which automatically makes it better.. again.. you're an idiot.. I'm also not thinking about what would work for just me because if it was honestly up to me I'd turn back the hands of time and redo this whole clusterfuck from the 1700's until now. Again.. you're being brainwashed by our federal government to think any view other than what they show on TV is "radical".. you're part of the reason our generation is turning into mindless zombies with no way to think for themselves.. and your last sentence stating that I should stop whining about something that ended a long time ago.. well.. read the fucking thread you're posting in. A question was asked, I answered, you looked like an ass... end of story. I'm not replying to anymore of your dumbfounded arguments because I've blasted every single one of them out of the water and you've proven over and over that you can't educate yourself. All you repeat is the same old shit and can't comprehend that the world would be a lot better off without the United States federal government.
