It's just pretty boring to noone to talk to while skilling in a bank where noone is.

I usually try to check catherby and seers but usually noone there.

Most servers have a ::yell or ::shout ability which makes it that more fun.

The things is most people won't go out of their way to talk in the IRC chat unless it's right there without any effort.

Attaching it to the client would be a 10/10 idea.

As long as I can mute the shoutbox or disable it i'm happy, it just irritates me when i'm playing some servers and all you can hear is *BLUP, BEEEP* all the time. But yeah, ::yell or ::shout commands do not suit RuneRebels, it's a shame clan chats were implemented later on in 2006 or 2007 I believe, because if we had a server clan chat that'd be much easier haha

Yes I agree there needs to be a global chat feature in the game, It will be an excellent way to connect what little players are on... plus it will make playing less boring
