No one ever goes in the IRC room. So let's come up with a way to make it more popular. I was thinking of something along the lines of placing it above the forums so that IRC is open when you open the forums. Or just remove IRC overall and embed a chatroom into the forums. Anyone else have any suggestions?

Yeah i never really liked IRC's. I always liked to either have a chatroom on the home page of the forums or some sort of chatting thing there. I guess if the IRC were to put there it may attract more people to it.

You need to make sure you have both 32 and 64 bit java. I can't remember what the IRC uses. If you don't have the correct version of Java you will run into problems.
