Major smithing/ranged/mining problems
« on: May 19, 2013, 11:29:47 am »
Ello. I just wanted to quickly press 2 major issues which affect  smithing/ranged/mining.

1. The problem with throwing knives(this may be only a rumor, as I've only been playing for one day. But I've heard there was a problem with them from 2 different people.) This affects both smithing and ranged, as it will only be efficient to only make arrows rather than knives. Feathers are another further problem since we can only buy so many with only one world. This further affects smithing, causing there to be almost no efficient way to train unless we want to end up wasting materials.
Affected skills: Smithing, Ranged

2. Rings of forging. Without these it's far less efficient to train smithing, since you can not effectively make iron bars and must make steel or better items to effectively train. Thus it forces you to mine a large amount of coal if you wish to train efficiently, greatly affecting mining.
Affected skills: Mining, Smithing

I'm sure there are larger problems than both of these, but I feel as though these should still be taken care of relatively soon - especially problem #2.

Note: Sorry if I focused on efficiency a lot :p. I tend to be a bit too serious when it comes to xp efficiency  ;D

Perhaps Andrew Gower is the incarnation of Cato?

You do realize you didn't even mention what the problem is, right? You just mentioned on how it's bad an how it affects the server, you didn't actually specify the bug, also this should be under report a bug section if it's a bug.
