I went to the cooking guild and noticed a few problems.

1) Some of the descriptions are wrong.

Examine Chief: "Despite his name, rarely actually cooks heads."

Examine empty jug (on ground floor): "This jug is completely empty.  It has a 3 painted on its side."

2) The jug on the ground floor doesn't seem to work.

3) The items on the tables sometimes do not appear on screen but a quick logout login fixes that.

4) I can make flour but I can't make dough.

Your last answer will probably help with everything else but I was trying to use the jug to make dough.

It has been a VERY long time since I've done this (making a pie).

I was going to use the jug on the sink and then on the flour but the jug didn't work with the sink i.e. I can't fill it with water.

EDIT: Used bucket of water on pot of flour.  No menu appears to allow me to make pastry dough so all I get is bread dough.

Hm, well the sink in lumbridge basement works with a jug so my best guess is that the sink doesn't work.

As for the no menu, I guess the devs haven't added the other options yet XD.

I KNOW it is the jug on the ground floor because there is a jug on the top floor that works with the sink.

The item identification number is different as well (the numbers you see when you right click on an item).

I'll put the two numbers here when I get a chance.

Found the problem. The jug isn't tradeable, I guess the devs used the wrong id.

Search chests in Peer the Seer's house in Rellekka.
 
Item Uses:

Used for The Fremennik Trials quest.
 
Notes:

Used in obtaining a 4/5ths full bucket. If lost or destroyed, it can be retrieved by searching the chests again. A Jug is an item that can be filled with water. Wine can also be made in jugs with water.
