I know many people might disagree with this at first. But honestly the only way any oldschool server has a chance at being successful now after jagex released the 07 servers is having xp rates. This way the people who simply dont have the time to train with 1x xp will join them. Anyone looking for an oldschool server with low xp rates will join jagex's oldschool server. People will not continue to join the server i can assure you that. Anyone looking for Oldschool private servers will be looking for ones with xp rates of atleast x5+.

This is a terrible idea. If you don't have the time to skill, then don't. Just because you're impatient, doesn't mean the game and economy should be ruined. The XP rates are perfect.

we are playing with 2x which is an higher xp rate than jagex. People don't come to us looking for higher xp rates, they come looking for a server where they don't have to deal with jagex and don't have to pay 13$ a month just to play. People come here if they want a better community and not full of scammers and botters. Most people want 2x anyways, we already took a poll and around 60-70 % want 2x and 40-30% want 3x, nobody voted for 5x or higher

This is what the community voted on for XP rates, we have tried many different votes on XP rates and 2x has come up the winner ever time, thus it shall remain this way, topic locked.
