Jar file for the server
« on: February 09, 2013, 05:56:10 pm »
Is there a jar file that I can download to run the server that actually works? I tried to download the client from the forums that was in a zip but that one does not work and when I use the website to play the game if I switch tabs the screen goes white and doesn't restore itself..

http://www.runerebels.com/download/ This is the client download? If it doesn't work can you explain what's wrong? This thread should have been posted in tech support.

When you say the Zipped file doesn't work - could you be more specific and maybe we can help you?

I extract the zip file onto my desktop. Inside of the folder you have Run and like some DS. file and inside another folder you have a loader.jar file. Neither the run batch file or the loader.jar file work/open. The run batch file says 'java' cannot be found or some shit when it opens up the cmd prompt and the loader jar file gives me an error when I try to open it.

You may have to edit your environmental variables.
