« on: February 08, 2013, 05:38:21 pm »
Hi, im getting error when I try to load the game.

It says in the left corner "Error. Click for details"

When I click for details it says "ClassNotFoundException"
"org.allgofree.worldscape317.client.jagex.client"
"Details  Ignore  Reload"

So I clicked "Details".

And a window with this came up:

Java Plug-in 10.13.2.20
Using JRE version 1.7.0_13-b20 Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM

f:   finalize objects on finalization queue
g:   garbage collect
h:   display this help message
l:   dump classloader list
m:   print memory usage
o:   trigger logging
q:   hide console
r:   reload policy configuration
s:   dump system and deployment properties
t:   dump thread list
v:   dump thread stack
x:   clear classloader cache

Try to update your Java fully. Both JDK and JRE.

Let me know if you need a link.

Did you click to allow the game client access to install it's contents onto your computer? (That little popup window). This is what commonly happens when you don't allow the applet to run.

That happened to me recently when I updated Java.  I had to uninstall java and then dl/install from the site.  It still didn't work, but when I clicked their 'check my java' button, I forget exactly what it said, but I re-dl'ed java again, the second time w/o uninstalling, and then it worked.

It was a real pain.

Have you tried the downloadable client yet? Perhaps it won't do the same thing.
