Yea I do not think double exp should be given and if items are given there should be a limit of one per character and obviously they would be untradeable.

but then that would give off the 'I'm better than you because i've played longer. just look at my vote items.' vibe.

Its just a suggestion, I understand it may be a slippery slope. You could also argue that high scores do the same thing, giving off an I'm better than you attitude because someone has the highest skills, etc.

You have to work for skills. you just have to be active for vote points.
