Skill capes were part of the update in December of 2006. This is before then, so skillcapes won't be added until they move up to the next update (which they most likely will).

There are currently only two random events ingame being the Evil Chicken and the Genie giving out XP lamps. All other events will probably make their way in once the skills are totally fixed.

Lol'd. Anyways, would be pretty awesome to see skillcapes on here. They just give you a huge sense of accomplishment, and people comment about your cape that you feel proud of.

Hmm. I do agree.. However I also feel that since capes came out more people get 99's just to get a cape they 'like'.. for cosmetic reasons. I am neutral about capes tbh

To me,  knowing that you will get a special cape for getting 99, is incentive?  Yes? :)  I see nothing wrong with choosing a skill to work on more then another because you like a certain cape.  It's just choice, and it shouldn't matter what the reason we as individual choose a skill.  Also, skill capes are a little more then just cosmetic. :)

Skillcapes were added later in 2006. We do have plans to eventually release them into the game, but we don't have plans on doing that anytime soon. We are working on adding more Random Events. We have every intention on adding all the Random Events.

Do it for the accomplishment! There are only 2 99s right now and they're both in woodcutting. I will be claiming the third 99 here soon in fishing.
