Hey everyone I've been here for months but haven't took the time to introduce myself yet so I thought I would now. I'm a 19 year old second year University student who has joined rune rebels mainly for nostalgia reasons. I started playing runescape in 2005 right before farming was released and i played ALOT from that point until 2007 when I quit. Then in 2009 I came back to runescape and ended up playing less and eventually quit permanently near the end of 2009. Then I logged back on runescape last year only to find the game has turned into World of Wacraft lite. I then logged off never to return.

After I got an email advertising rune rebels and I decided I'd try it. I was happy to find a website where I could play my favorite childhood game without all the shitty updates. I also tried project06 at this point and ended up quitting quickly because it was way too crowded and laggy.

I won't be posting on the forums too often, nor will I be playing too often due to not having enough time. However, when I am online I'll likely be woodcutting as woodcutting has always been my favorite skill (not sure when or if I'll ever train other skills).

Lots of people that would be interested in playing a runescape server from 2006 are playing solely for the sake of nostalgia and simply don't have time to level up at a 2x rate (such as me). I've been playing for 5 or so days and only trained woodcutting and I'm only at level 46 I believe. I think that 3 or 4x xp would be better for me but I think that since this is suppose to be as close as 2006 as possible it would be better for the server as a whole to keep it at 2x xp. I probably will never have a level 99 (although I'm sure many people will) but really the xp rate should stay at 2x.

No offense but you guys need to listen to better metal  Check out these bands!
