I don't think the population would grow out of control of this server even with that merge. After Project died most of them probably went to that RS07 thing or they quit RS remakes in general.

They would create a forum account, and then attach their prs06 account to the forum account. Then when the log on they would have thier stats from prs06.
So if we do go about doing this, will I just log in one day to have all my stats and items swiped and just have like 20 woodcutting and fletching? Because that's all I had on prs06.

No. All of our accounts stay as they are currently. To sync stats from PR06 you have to create a new account and enter your information from PR06, and I'm assuming you go by the username of the new account you created.

The only issue I honestly see coming up with this is how we handle the username situation. My username is Envy both here and on PR06, my friend's name on PR06 is Dragonite and somebody else has it here, etc...

How will we handle that situation?

I did start on PR06 around December 20th and the only thing I thing I remember about Pompano was that he provided funding for the server for the first month or 2 while David was still with the server. Once David had left, Pompano had basically resigned from being shown on the site as an admin as well I'm pretty sure. I'm pretty sure he provided funding for ProjectRSC as well, whether or not he still does, I'm not sure.

^ These were the only 4 officially released so far. I've heard that there are some that you can partially start but they are still incomplete though.

I honestly don't want a player increase, especially a major one. I started playing pr06 just before Christmas and the playerbase was amazing. (We were just under 100 online at a time when I got there) As time went on we eventually got up to 300 with 2006scape still being up, which 300 was fine still, but I didn't enjoy it as much as when we were at 100-200. Then the day 2006scape shutdown we ended up shooting up to like 1.1k players, which at first it didn't seem as bad because they were all complete noobs and all I did was range pvm at the time, but then once they all started growing in level everything got overcrowded and there were also trolls and such growing in numbers on the server. 2 weeks after the massive influx of players I had basically quit (As in probably less than an hour a week of playing, that time just spent with the few friends I had).

I think neither.  I read someone expressing their opinion, not being a troll.  As far as their facts, I don't know, I didn't do the research to know for sure.

I'm pretty sure he's saying that because this person obviously knows it's a 2007 remake, but yet he's saying it's gonna be a better 2006 remake than us when it isn't even a 2006 remake.



Personally I don't like many of the updates between where we'll be and where that server will be, so I probably won't switch over. Along with my respect for Jagex at this point making me not want to play.

Am I the only one who doesn't want 1000s of players switching to this server? It seems to cause too much trouble for servers if tons of players rush in IMO (Such as DDoSing that was happening to PRS06)
