Title: Download Client for Mac
Post by: Sadman1327 on February 10, 2014, 05:16:23 pm
Is the Rune Rebels client downloadable for Mac? When I click "download client" it goes into my downloads folder, but then when i try to install it I get this Message: "Rune Rebels is damaged and can't be downloaded. You should move it to the trash.

If someone that has a Mac could please tell me what to do, I would really appreciate it.

I ran into this issue with my mac... because of the new update with mac, it doesn't allow you to download ANYTHING off the internet if it's not on the app store. I did that a few months back so I'm not totally sure what I did but I remember going into my settings and clicking on "allow for downloaded programs from the internet" and then it worked fine. I totally forgot how to get there though O.o

I play RuneRebels on a Macbook Air with OSX 10.7.5. I have encountered no problems with this server or the client.

Try this:
Go to System Preferences
Click on Security and Privacy
Make sure you are on the "general" tab
Under "Allow Applications Downloaded From:" check the box next to "anywhere".

I think this should fix your problem. ;D
