I find it more obnoxious the useful, if someone post i can just edit mine.
-
Nah, I like it. I wish more forums would have it.
-
I kind of like it also, keeps us from reiterating the same thing twice and pushing topics off topic.

It's awesome.

guess im alone on this one :(
-
I like it because then i can go back and read the comment to see if hes saying the same thing and edit my post ;P

I really don't think its removable in the first place, without heavily editing the actual source script of SMF. Its a built in feature of SMF.

You just have to disable it. I've used SMF before.
-
I don't see any good use in removing it.

I have too, I've never seen an option to remove it. There isn't any good in removing it either. Its a useful feature.

You're not alone. :) I'm not fond of it either, but I can live with it. :)

Theres a major point in Kevin's post. There is no point in removing this it is only a notification if you want to ignore it just click post again it is not that hard, if it got removed alot of people would post the same thing the person before posted which could lead to arguments.
-
I actually really like the "Someone posted while you were creating this post", sorry :P
-
I also agree with the majority, see it is more usefull to edit your post through this feature because you can see if someone before you has said something similar then you would take notice and edit it instantly.
-
Therefore this will NOT be removed. Case Closed.

After the fact of debate, there is an option in the "Look and Layout" settings option from the profile modification. The label is, with a check box,
Don't warn on new replies made while posting.
There you go.

It's not convenient when you are trying to post something quickly, but I can deal with it.
